Kath Dowling

My complementary therapy career began in 1993 when I trained as a Reflexologist with Michael Keet at the London School of Reflexology.

In 1995 I studied the ITEC course in Holistic Swedish massage at Morley College This expanded my knowledge of anatomy and physiology and further developed my sense of touch. I went on to assist in the teaching of the practical aspects of this course and also taught an 'Anytime, anywhere massage' and 'Massage for couples' short courses. I furthered my studies with the Sports Massage qualification which applied my knowledge to specific conditions and complaints.

In 2010, I started practicing chair massage through the clothes and qualified with the European School of Shiatsu in 'Seated On-Site Bodywork'.  I also work on an ad-hoc basis in The Walk-In Backrub in London

In 2011, I studied Tsuboki Japanese Facial Massage with Anne Parry

I am a member of and am fully insured through the Complementary Therapists Association as well as being a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

As well as keeping up to date with professional magazines and newsletters, I like to attend regular courses covering advanced techniques and to develop my understanding of the therapies I practice together with ones I am interested in.
